![]() ![]() The most you can do is to wrap a seat belt around it which is not that secure and may do more harm than good if there's an accident. On public transit, such as buses, taxis, shuttles etc, you don't have the time to properly install one and most of the seats are not designed to have a car seat properly installed. I agree that a car seat is important for the safety of the child and I have one in my vehicle at all times and it's properly installed with anchors and belts bolted onto the vehicle. Any one with any advice/comments are appreciated. So many variables and just want to make the best arrangements with the least hassle when getting from airport to hotels and vice versa. Any comments to this scenario? Any flaws? Maybe getting an exclusive shuttle van for your group will be best in this case since you are not sharing, and you get to go where you want at a fixed price. However, if you get into a traffic jam and the meter is ticking along with your heartbeat, that's a different story. ![]() ![]() Some reviews also mentioned getting a taxi van at LAX will be better if you have 3 or more persons together and you don't have to share a van with others and risk delays as a result. I hope this is accurate since I don't intend to bring one along for my toddler but don't want to get caught without one if that's not the case. Prime time also does not charge for children under 2 and I was told that child seat is not required in their vans or for any public vehicles for that matter. I guess it's really up to the driver of your particular shuttle that will either do a good job or not. Prime time's website however, provides a lot of infomation and precise fare quotation which gives a very good impression of how they operate so it's kind of difficult to decide whether or not they should be selected. Read a fair amount of reviews regarding which shuttle service is better for getting passengers from LAX to hotel and vice versa and seems that the Prime time shuttle did not get too many good reviews despite being the least expensive based on fare quotes from let's say, LAX to Long Beach area compared to Supershuttle, Express shuttle etc. ![]()
